OG ULTIMATE new version - THREADED FOR RIMS

Post by bloke »

I'm getting ready to run some SILVER PLATED BRASS cup/shank pieces threaded for rims, based on the OG ULTIMATE design.

These (in addition to all sorts of Houser-design and Sellmansberger-design stainless steel rims being able to be used with them) will likely vary a TINY bit from the one-piece OG Ultimate design, in that - at the rim interior juncture, it will likely need to be VERY SLIGHTLY (hopefully, VERY LITTLE) justified to the universal ("all Sellmansberger rims fit all Sellmansberger cups") juncture diameter - roughly (it's no secret, and easily measured by any who owns a steel-components Sellmansberger mouthpiece) 32.25mm at that juncture.

Most of my initial runs (though some have ended up being quite extensive, as - sometimes - there are quite a few who sign on) have been fairly limited, but/and if you're interested in a THREADED FOR RIMS OG Ultimate (so-called) under-part (silver plated cup/shank piece) contact me, and I'll put you down. I ALREADY have a couple signed up for "if and when you decide to offer this".

Obviously, I view the slightly-altered #2 profile 32.9mm rim (built into the one-piece version) as ideal, but (well...) I'm not everyone...and the person who is #1 on the list is ALLERGIC to silver/gold/etc...so a stainless steel rim is the ONLY way they're going to be able to play this model.

Other than clean/new/shiny (and subtly shorter) they will greatly resemble this:

...so REACH OUT if you would like to be added to the (only a couple of peeps, so far) list !!!

I have NOT come up with a price, but I WILL soon. If you view the eventual price as TOO DAMN HIGH :slap: , realize that I'm not collecting any front-end money (only NAMES and CONTACT INFO), so you can say, "Hey bloke, that's just TOO DAMN HIGH !!!

Is this in addition to a second run of the one piece OG ultimate or will this replace that run?

Both. :teeth:

I'll have both for sale.

If you don't like the rim I chose for the solid mouthpiece and have one of your own that's stainless steel... Or if you are allergic to silver plated brass... This will be an option for those types of customers.
