That's a "Monster" Eb, correct? The angle of the photos makes we wonder sometimes, but I would bet it's a monster and not a medium.

Yeah, the size of the bottom bow makes me think it's more monstrous than mediumous.

Whenever I see a horn like this, meaning missing one or more parts but otherwise in relatively good shape, I always wonder how hard and expensive it would be to find or make the missing parts. I hate to see old instruments get wasted.

I picked up one of those in Middleonowhere, Illinois (northwest Illinois, at a huge passed-down-through-generations farm) from the son (who is next-in-line to own the farm, and is the town's band director).

Depending on the actual bell size, this looks like the kind of donor horn Sam Gnagey uses to make his CCs.
